So yesterday I was all ready to post my “What’s New Wednesday?” feature when I made a crucial mistake with my shop site…a major rookie mistake! I made what I thought would be a slight change to the indobay inc. shop. Long story short, I ended up changing some html codes and ended up back to my original template. Months of tweaking and customizing my shop site, GONE!!
Lesson learned: Always BACK UP!!!
So instead of posting to my blog I spent most of yesterday redesigning the shop site. I have to admit, it was one of those bad good things. I actually like the way the shop site turned out better than the first time! Yay!!
So…What WAS new on Wednesday? How about this quirky modern take on a holiday banner? It is my interpretation of stockings hung with care. You can read about the newest addition to the indobay shop here ;)
So what else is new? Good News! For those of you who are signed up for my newsletter, your exclusive discount code awaits you in your e-mail! Remember, the code is valid for only two weeks so don’t wait too long! If you haven’t yet signed up for my updates and exclusive discounts it’s easy. Just go to the e-mail signup form on my sidebar. And speaking of new…how about taking a peek at my New Shop Design! Feel free to let me know what you think.
As always…live SIMPLY, live LOVELY!
Love your modern and fresh take on the Christmas stocking. Never been much of a red 'n green xmassy gal, so this is right up my alley.
ReplyDeletePS - new shop front is great! I've also recently signed up with BC, but have yet to do any uploading/tweaking etc. I'll be sure to take heed and back up though :)
Hi Marie-Louise! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I'm not a red & green gal either so I was inspired to create something that didn't have your typical holiday color palette...hence,the banner. So glad you like it!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you starting your BC shop! It takes a bit of time to figure out how to customize it but I love that you can brand your site to look like your own aesthetic. I'm no expert by any means but feel free to email me for some tips I've picked up along the way. :)
